Encrypting Box

Box Encryption provided through StratoKey, is seamless and transparent to end users. This transparent file encryption secures files before they leave your organization's control and puts you in sole control of the encryption keys. StratoKey encrypts files uploaded to Box through the standard browser interface, on mobile devices and when automatically synchronized with the Box Sync desktop application. Files are automatically decrypted when downloaded through the StratoKey gateway. The entire encryption process is a seamless, latency-free experience that's performed entirely without agents.
